There are no chips involved in a cash game simply the money you have in front of you and the aim of the game is to win everyone else's cash at the table through excellent bets and fantastic bluffs! Most Mobile Poker Sites will typically have it set in the range of 40 to 100 big blinds, so if you sat down at a $1/$2 game at your chosen site the minimum buy in will be $80(40 big blinds) while the maximum buy in will be $200(100 big blinds). This is for the most common style of cash game you will find in Mobile Poker however there are plenty of other variations to choose from for players who like something a little different. There are also deep stacked poker tables on most if not all Mobile Poker Sites that will allow players to buy in for up to 200 big blinds instead of the usual 100.
Some people enjoy this as it allows them to play hands like suited connectors more often as they stand a chance at winning bigger pots with their straights and flushes. The flip side to this is the shallow stacked cash tables where players will start with a stack in the 20-40 big blind range which is great for those who like to stick their chips in the middle and have a bit of a gamble! The final variation of cash table is the ante table, this is where every player must put a small amount (usually a fraction of the big blind) into the pot at the start of every hand in addition to the blinds, the idea of this is to make the pot bigger at the start so that players will be more inclined to try and win it making the pots far juicier!
Cash is only played across 1 table however the number of players sitting at a table can vary with most sites offering, 9max, 6max, heads up, and sometimes even 4 max games. The general idea is that the less players at the table the more hands you will play. So if you see yourself as more of a patient player typically waiting for good hands before putting chips in the pot then 9 max cash games may be the way for you, and if you see yourself looking to make the action happen and put people under a lot of pressure with a wide range of hands then we'd suggest you give the 6 max or less cash games a try!
